YOUR FAST TRACK TO PRESENTING…

Well, suddenly May is here and we are gearing for our brilliant Fast Track course this weekend. We have four really exciting talents to work with and we can’t wait to work with Chloe, Holly, Ines and Siobhan. We will be tweeting and posting pics of what we all get up to of course!

TV is all about making the most of your opportunities. As we often say, it can feel daunting and a little like you are on the outside of all the fun. But you’ll only stay there if you don’t do anything about it!

Honestly – everyone who works with us – on our Fast Track Presenter Course, on our 1-2-1 training on our workshops or our ideas development courses all come away focused and excited by the challenge of making things happen.

Last week three of our family were on your screens – Presenter Studio’s Charlie’s Angels! – Rebecca Perfect was reporting for Aled Jones on his ITV weekend show, Anna Johnson was on Lorraine and Belinda Fenty was still giving it large on The Island with Bear Gryls…

They all started with us and have since then worked hard to open doors….

Anna Johnson – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s-W9p7f2ME

Belinda Fenty – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VAOjZgvN1U

As producers – this is what is so exciting for us to see. Last week we ran our How To Make It as a TV Presenter workshop. There we worked with some amazing people with their own amazing stories and ambitions. We had an ice-skating coach, a life coach and budding business-woman and a young urban music fan who spends her life surfing Spotify! All were totally different in what they want to do and what they enjoy. All it takes is a bit of confidence – and some decent training to help you realise your dreams.

So – have a think about what you want to do….

What’s stopping you?

Come and join us at The Presenter Studio….

Next Fast Track course is June 9th/10th with Limited availability – Book your place at www.presenterstudio.com NOW!

See you very soon

MAKE YOUR PRESENTING DREAMS COME TRUE

Hello everyone – time for a little catch up! It may always be busy here – but we’ve always got time for you guys…

This week the brilliant Becky Perfect is doing some reporting from the sunshine of Cannes… it’s alright for some isn’t it?! Becky is going from strength to strength – and it all started on our Fast Track two day presenter course. She has of course been working super hard ever since and that start with us and her hard work and talent is really paying off now.

It’s great to have your dreams and goals as a presenter – but what are you doing about them?

We had a fantastic weekend earlier this month with four ladies all bursting at the seams to get their TV careers off the ground. They had all decided to take the plunge and begin their training and coaching to help them on their way…

Gareth has been doing a couple of days private filming with the brilliant Gary – a Ballroom Dancing legend and Leon has even started doing his own radio show!

We have also been putting people forward for some exciting jobs with Red Bull and a TV production company…. so fingers crossed for those guys.

You can keep up with all the pics and news on our twitter – @presenterstudio or the facebook page.

Better still – you could come and join us on one of our exclusive training courses. We have spaces on our June and July Fast Track courses and availability for bespoke 1-2-1 coaching and filming.

Don’t miss out on your chance to work with genuine TV Producers who know what they are talking about and can help you get the results you want.

Check out the latest tapes we have made on our YouTube channel – presenterstudio to get a taste of what we do.

So – get in-touch by email – This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by phone 02086777143 and lets see what we can do for you.

Take care

Leon & Gareth

CHARLIE GOES BACK ONTO BIG BROTHER

We’ve worked with quite a few reality TV stars at The Presenter Studio.  It’s always a hard transition going from reality star to TV presenter.

But there’s one person who is working hard and making all the right moves.  We worked with Charlie Travers last year on our award-winning fast track TV presenter training programme and since then she has been doing really well.  She’s now fresh back from LA and is appearing on Channel FIVE again on Friday this week in the studio.

Take a look at her talent taster tape we did for her to see what you think.

So tonight we went on BBC Radio Five Live to talk about our top tips on how to land yourself the job as the next Top Gear Presenter. It’s the job everyone wants but how do you get it?

Well here are our top tips to creating the best possible 0’30” presenter tape:

  1. Talk to a real person and not the camera. Talk normally and use words you don’t usually use – don’t pretend to be a TV Presenter.
  2. Humour – it needs to be fun and entertaining, as that’s the tone of the show you want to work on.
  3. Make sure you explain who you are, what makes you different and what you are into. And don’t copy what talent already exists.
  4. Passion and Energy are hugely important. If you are not passionate about what you are talking about the Producers won’t be passionate about hiring you.
  5. Explain your love of cars and what your take on it is. But notice how this is the last point. Your interest in cars will be a given. Remember this is an entertainment show that just so happens to be about cars. So selling ‘your personality’ is going to be key.

Good luck everyone!

REBECCA PERFECT LANDS ITV ROLE

We’ve been very slow in announcing it but Rebecca Perfect has landed a job as a presenter for the new ITV series ‘Weekend’.  It’s on every weekend and is a lovely regular gig for Rebecca.  She’s been doing so well and also now has a regular film review slot on the BBC too.

FAST TRACK PRESENTER COURSE LONDON

We love the feedback we get from people who come and train with us and it’s always nice to share it!

So here’s what the last 3 people had to say on our award-winning fast track presenter training course – all giving us five out of five stars!

AARON:  I loved how supportive everyone was, even when I was a car crash!  We covered so much ground and I’d definitely recommend you guys.  Thank you lovely lads x

ELLIE:  I loved finding my USP and challenging myself. I really liked (and needed) the encouragement you gave us after every PTC.  It meant I was happy to be myself and stopped me getting flustered!

RAV:  We were always given positive and constructive feedback and I loved the positive energy of Gareth and Leon. Please don’t stop doing what you do!

So if you want to book a place on our next fast track programme you will have to move fast.  Jan and Feb are both sold out and there’s just a few places left for March!

So book now!

Our presenters get everywhere!  So it was nice to hear from John Mason today who has been over in Baku presenting for the European Games.  Since working with us he’s gone from strength to strength…he’s definitely one to watch….and he’s a nice guy too.

Take a look at his talent taster tape to see what all the fuss is about:

TV COMPANIES ASKING FOR OUR PRESENTERS

This last month we have had both Maverick TV and So Television approach us asking for presenters for their TV shows.

And we’ve also been asked by a TV Production company to train a new talent for a new series.

So it’s good to work with us on one of our presenter courses – as you just never know what will happen!
