Presenter Studio

Huge congratulations to Scarlette Douglas who is the new presenter of Channel 4’s long running series A Place in the Sun.

Scarlette is a real producers dream.  She has a great work ethic and has really worked hard to get where she wants to be.  She has a really strong brand – she’s warm, friendly and passionate about what she does.

Scarlett came and worked with us on our amazing How to Make it as a TV Presenter Workshop and since then has gone from strength to strength.

We really wish her well with her TV Presenting career, and we believe she has the right attitude and talent to have a long career too!

Well done from all The Presenter Studio Team xxx

Dean Kilford first came on our award-winning TV Presenter Training Course -The Fast Track Programme.  We marketed him at the kids genre but as time has moved on so has Dean.  He’s now fully rebranded by us and has just landed his first job the BBC no less!

So want to check him out?  He’s a really great guy and is a fabulous presenter.  Check out his TV Presenter Showreel that we filmed for him.  All tailor-made presenter training by the UK’s top TV Producers.

Amal Fashanu came on our award-winning fast track presenter training course.  She is a model and entrepreneur and we wanted to brand and market her so she can really focus on her TV career.  And back in November she was on BBC THREE hosting another of her own documentaries.  http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-11-17/who-is-amal-fashanu
We are super proud of her.  Check our her presenter showreel that we did for her!

Sorted Food worked with us a good few years ago and are now Europe’s largest online cooking channel.  You’ve probably seen then on the BBC/ITV/Channel 4 and we are proud to say we have been a part in their development.

The guys are amazing at what they do – check out their website – https://sortedfood.com and also check out below what they had to say about working with us.  Thanks guys!

“The Presenter Studio opened up our minds into the idea of stepping back and understanding what you’re doing and why. Even if you already have some experience you’ve probably picked up a few bad habits. The course gives you the framework and opportunity to step back and work out what can be learnt or perfected. We felt instantly at ease, there was no such thing as ‘wrong’ or ‘embarrassing’, yet we left knowing something had been improved. The take-out from just single day with Gareth and the team continued to unfold over the coming months as we undertook different projects.”

Wilfred Frost has gone on to do great things since we first worked with him on our fast track presenter training course.  He’s a real grafter but also a real talent and he’s become a real friend of us here at The Presenter Studio.

He’s now presenting full-time at CNBC and has just secured himself a really exciting role in America.  http://www.cnbc.com/wilfred-frost/

We are super proud of his success, and also his great work ethic.

Take a look at the presenter showreel we did for him.

This is now all about having a regroup and seeing how we can help her cash in on her success so far.

Take a look at her fantastic talent taster tape.  If you want a cool, edgy but very warm presenter for your next series then give her a shout!  https://youtu.be/CyrQ0CN5Z3Q

PRESENTATION COACHING

We offer completely bespoke presentation coaching, where you get to work with the Producers who have helped create some of the world’s most successful presenters.

A Producer is the person who is hired to ‘Produce’ the Presenter – writing their scripts, giving them direction and making them come across in the best way possible.

The Presenter Studio works directly with CEOS, professionals, politicians, sports stars and journalists to bring the discipline and creative approach of television to your world.

We produce talent for a living and have worked with everyone from international sports stars like Colin Jackson CBE and Mark Webber to entertainments biggest presenters like Claudia Winkleman and Christine Bleakley to Executive Directors of major corporations like Prudential.

We know what makes a good presenter and how to make a presentation/web video etc effective, professional and on brand. Being ‘on brand’ works in two ways – who are ‘you’ and what is your business brand and how do ‘you’ fit in with that.

We can work with you on a 1 to 1 basis or also hold group sessions.

RECENT CLIENTS: ASOS, Prudential Insurance, Red Bull, Porsche Racing, National Pharmacy Association, Simpson Millar Solicitors, Red Hat, Lush Cosmetics and many high profile celebrities and sports stars.

LET’S GET PERSONAL: Presentation training can do more harm than good if it’s not personal to you. There is no ‘applies to all’ rule about how to be a good speaker. It’s all about bringing to the fore your personal style, making it authentic.

For you to get your message across it needs to feel personal to you. The corporate world is very often lacking any personality and that’s often why your message fails to get the desired result.

We’ll work with you to develop your own personal brand, playing to your strengths and ironing out the weaknesses, ensuring that you come across as a real person, delivering a message that is engaging for your audience.

MAKE IT ON MESSAGE: Getting your message across should be simple. But so much time is often spent on ineffective corporate speak and jargon, and so your message simply gets lost.

We’ll work with you on your script in it’s content, shape and use of language. And we’ll also examine every aspect of your presentation – from your delivery, to your music, to your visuals.

We’ll ensure that your presence shines through, showcasing your passion and expertise for your subject.

MAKE IT ON BRAND: This is about you being as natural and engaging as you can possibly be, but also to fit in with the brand and personality of the company you are representing. If you look at the likes of Richard Branson and Virgin or Kelly Hoppen they are both the personification of their brand.

So we’ll ensure your presentation is both unique to you but also is in keeping with the brand of your business.

MAKE IT DYNAMIC: Your presentation needs to be memorable, effective and needs to fulfil the desired impact. That means every presentation you do needs to be unique, impactful and the best you can make it. We’ll come up with lots of different ideas to help ensure we create some fantastic work together.

COMPLETELY BESPOKE TRAINING: All of our training is completely bespoke to you, your brand, your company and the event you are talking at – whether that’s an internal presentation, a media interview or corporate videos. We can work in short sessions or in a longer one-off session.

TV PRESENTER JOB

Everyone who comes and trains with us at The Presenter Studio gets put up for TV Presenter jobs as part of our talent database.  It’s what we do for free for them as part of our continued support for everyone who comes and works with us.

Another great presenter job came in today and we have put forwards a few presenters who fit the bill of what they have asked for.  Castings are always very specific with Producers always wanting a certain type of personality/age/type.  So these presenters all fitted the bill.  See what you think and who you’d give the presenter job to!
