THE PRESENTER STUDIO – TESTIMONIAL

Belinda Fenty from Channel 4’s Survivor has written a few nice words about us. Take a read and also take a look at her taster tape we did for her before the show: “I highly recommend the Fast- track Presenters Studio course. I learnt so much in just two days. Gareth and Leon are very approachable and warm which made learning fun, easy and inspiring. They also have a wealth of knowledge from their many years in the industry and gave me fantastic tips on my branding. I had a couple of meetings with agents off the back of my demo tape and some great feedback. I was picked to audition for Channel 4’s the Island With Bear Grylls after the casting director was shown my presenting showreel and I went on to have one of the most amazing experiences of my life!   Belinda Fenty, Channel 4 Survivor.”

PRESENTATION SKILLS COACHING

We offer completely bespoke presentation coaching and public speaking coaching, where you get to work with the Producers who have helped create some of the world’s most successful presenters.

A Producer is the person who is hired to ‘Produce’ the Presenter – writing their scripts, giving them direction and making them come across in the best way possible.

The Presenter Studio works directly with CEOS, professionals, politicians, sports stars and journalists to bring the discipline and creative approach of television to your world.

We produce talent for a living and have worked with everyone from international sports stars like Colin Jackson and Mark Webber to entertainments biggest presenters like Claudia Winkleman and Christine Bleakley to Executive Directors of major corporations like The Prudential.

We know what makes a good presenter and how to make a presentation/web video etc effective, professional and on brand. Being ‘on brand’ works in two ways – who are ‘you’ and what is your business brand and how do ‘you’ fit in with that.

We can work with you on a 1 to 1 basis or also hold group sessions.

RECENT CLIENTS: ASOS, Prudential Insurance, Red Bull, Porsche Racing, National Pharmacy Association, Simpson Millar Solicitors and many high profile celebrities and sports stars.

LET’S GET PERSONAL: Presentation training can do more harm than good if it’s not personal to you. There is no ‘applies to all’ rule about how to be a good speaker. It’s all about bringing to the fore your personal style, making it authentic.

For you to get your message across it needs to feel personal to you. The corporate world is very often lacking any personality and that’s often why your message fails to get the desired result.

We’ll work with you to develop your own personal brand, playing to your strengths and ironing out the weaknesses, ensuring that you come across as a real person, delivering a message that is engaging for your audience.

MAKE IT ON MESSAGE: Getting your message across should be simple. But so much time is often spent on ineffective corporate speak and jargon, and so your message simply gets lost.

We’ll work with you on your script in it’s content, shape and use of language. And we’ll also examine every aspect of your presentation – from your delivery, to your music, to your visuals.

We’ll ensure that your presence shines through, showcasing your passion and expertise for your subject.

MAKE IT ON BRAND: This is about you being as natural and engaging as you can possibly be, but also to fit in with the brand and personality of the company you are representing. If you look at the likes of Richard Branson and Virgin or Kelly Hoppen they are both the personification of their brand.

So we’ll ensure your presentation is both unique to you but also is in keeping with the brand of your business.

MAKE IT DYNAMIC: Your presentation needs to be memorable, effective and needs to fulfil the desired impact. That means every presentation you do needs to be unique, impactful and the best you can make it. We’ll come up with lots of different ideas to help ensure we create some fantastic work together.

COMPLETELY BESPOKE TRAINING: All of our training is completely bespoke to you, your brand, your company and the event you are talking at – whether that’s an internal presentation, a media interview or corporate videos. We can work in short sessions or in a longer one-off session.

FIRST DATES – CHANNEL 4 CASTING

If you have worked in the hospitality industry and are on our talent database then please email us TODAY with FIRST DATES in the title of your email and you could find yourself as the new regular face on Channel 4’s biggest series!  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

So many of our presenters go on to do great things.  And some now even have their own show.  Wilfred Frost now fronts his own programme in America, Norman Musa has had his own cooking shows back in Malaysia, Amal Fashanu has had her own BBC THREE documentaries, Scarlette Douglas now presents A Place in the Sun and today it has been announced that Rylan Clark has his own talk show for channel 5.

We wish him well.  It’s an amazing challenge – but he has already proven with BBOTS that he can hold his own show – just this one will have his name in the title.  So well done Rylan – we are all super proud of you!

THE PRESENTER STUDIO TEAM

So it’s great news – Dermot is back presenting The X Factor.  We’ve been lucky enough to work with Dermot and not only is he a great TV presenter he’s also a really nice guy.

So why did Caroline and Olly not work as presenters of the main show?  We think it’s down to their onscreen chemistry.  Duos are hard to make work on TV – as a viewer you have to buy into their friendship and want to join in their gang.  With Caroline and Olly were they really true friends?  Did they really want to be there together?  And also why was there a need to have 2 presenters rather than just 1 – did each presenter really know why they were there, and what their role was?

Ant and Dec are the perfect TV duo.  Best mates who are really natural with each other – and as a viewer you love nothing more than observing their natural banter and onscreen chemistry.  It’s taken them years to perfect their act…

We also think that Caroline and Olly felt a bit young for primetime Saturday night TV.  The X Factor is ITV’s biggest show, and so you want ITV’s biggest name to host it.  It just didn’t feel like a natural fit for these 2 to be presenting this show at this stage of their TV careers. But good on ITV trying out different faces in primetime.

So Dermot is back!  He’ll be as slick as ever.  And he will also help a very female skewed show feel mainstream.  His blokey natural charm appeals to both men and women which is so important in primetime TV as you want your presenter to have as wide a reach as possible.

As always we need to wait to see who the judges will be.  Our money is on Sharon Osbourne coming back.  She brings a great sense of fun to the table!
