PRESENTATION SKILLS TRAINING WITH PRUDENTIAL

We not only work with TV stars as we also work with people in the corporate world who need training when it comes to their presentation skills, or media training.

At the start of this year we worked with two of the top people at Prudential in the lead-up to their annual event.  One was the host of the event and the other was delivering a 20 minute speech.

We worked with them both on their scripts – everything from clarity of message, to ensuring it all made sense to coming up with ideas for watercooler moments etc.  And then we also worked with them on their presentation skills.  And this is what they had to say about us:

“The event was a great success and your support paid off”.

“Can I start with a big thank you! Your coaching made such a difference.  I’ve had lots of nice feedback already.  Again, big thanks.”

Our Presenters are in demand!

Working with the Presenter Studio really does pay off!

We’ve had a busy start to the year working with brand new presenting talent and seeing more of our presenting family appearing on your TV screens.

It takes hard work and determination to make it – but if you’re willing to put in the work then it really can happen.

We are extremely proud of everyone we work with – whether you are just starting out or are already on your way. What we offer is the unique opportunity to ‘be produced’ – the golden phrase of working in TV. The producer is your best friend and success is all about how well you can be produced and deliver what the programme needs. But the producer also needs you to be – YOU! You’re the person they have hired to bring their item, programme, advert or report to life…

So – come and join the ever growing Presenter Studio family and see where you can get yourself.

We have limited availability of our Fast Track courses in March and are very pleased to say that we also have opportunities to work with you on a one-to-one basis if that suits you too. So get in-touch NOW!!!

Welcome to spring (almost!) and we really look forward to working with you soon.

BOBBY NORRIS WORKS WITH THE PRESENTER STUDIO

Bobby Norris from ITV’s The Only Way Is Essex was sent to us by one of the UK’s top TV Presenter agents who was keen for us to develop his career.

Bobby was a real dream to work with.  He’s funny, charming and everyone’s best friend.  His agent is delighted with the talent taster tape we’ve done for him and now is ready to take his career to the next level.

Thanks for your kind words of thanks too Bobby – we wish you well!

The Presenter Studio

We have clients come to us from all over the world for our unique TV Presenter Training – your opportunity to work exclusively with 2 of the UK’s top TV Producers.

Emma Slater came to us all the way from LA where she is currently based as she is one of the professional dancers on Dancing With the Stars, alongside another one of our clients Shona.

Emma is a real natural on camera and we wanted to capture her warmth, charm and passion on tape, to get her ready for mainstream TV.  She’s got a fab tape, and interest now from a top agent.  So good luck to her and well done.

Here is the talent taster tape we did for her:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GykOfcseDS8

ANOTHER CLIENT ON ITV’S THIS MORNING

It was great to see another Presenter Studio client on ITV’s This Morning.  Laura Milne had her own item on there and she has now joined the long line up of stylists, experts and presenters we’ve trained who This Morning are taking up – from Paul Frangie to ongoing appearances from Rylan.  Here is a clip of Laura in action:  http://www.itv.com/thismorning/hot-topics/harassment-phone-in-advice-support

MORE SUCCESS STORIES

We love it when we hear from our clients about how well they are doing. Here’s an email we’ve just received from Peg who came on the Fast Track Programme a few months ago – and look what amazing work she is doing!  And here’s a link to the fab TV Presenter Talent Taster Tape we did for her:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-TC4C6sII4

Hi Gareth and Leon,

Things have been going great for me since doing the course with you. I’ve continued doing my radio stuff but have also been doing two current affairs TV shows. The first one ran for a 12 week series. It was filmed in different locations with a number of discussions per show, mainly with 2 guests per discussion, but up to 5 on one show. My current show has taken a feature from the first show that was really well received and we have turned that into a stand alone show which I record as live in the studio.

Anyway – I have to say again a huge thanks to you both for telling me politics and current affairs was the way to go. I was convinced I wanted human interest but now I’m back on my own stomping ground I realise how much I know and how much I love it. Thank you.

It’s all very well saying you want to presenter the X Factor or the 10 O’Clock news – but those programmes already have presenters who are pretty good… It’s up to you to offer something fresh and exciting to an industry desperate to find new Presenter talent.

The best way to make your way where you want to go in the world of presenting is to be your self and offer a producer something different and interesting. It may seem obvious to say, but this is where so many people go wrong – right from the start.

It’s really important to see presenters you like and admire and dream of doing their jobs – but in order to get there you have to think about how you can start and get yourself on that path.

We love working with exciting talent and part of that is helping you to showcase you at your best and most exciting. Things that you might think are not that important or interesting usually are. It’s those passions, opinions and perspectives that make you You! So celebrate your quirks and interests as ultimately that is what could set you on the path to presenting success.

Here are a few people we’ve worked with who are all brilliantly different and exciting as presenting talent in totally different ways…

PRESENTER JOB VACANCY….

It’s probably one of the biggest jobs in TV – and it’s now available so what’s stopping you?

Whether Dermot jumped or was pushed from The X Factor will be a matter of gossip for months – but it has thrown open an amazing opportunity for a new presenter…

That kind of job may seem a little way off if you’re just starting out on your presenting career – but having ambition and dreaming of that kind of success is essential in a business that requires dedication and determination.

After all – Dermot had to start somewhere and so do you…

One of the most important things about starting your presenting career is to make sure you get the best advice and get yourself a great tape to showcase your presenting talent and personality.

We pride ourselves on helping people unleash their personality and passions on tape – and that is what makes you interesting and exciting to the people who are going to hire you for a job – Producers like us.

As well as running The Presenter Studio we are both working TV Producers creating some of TV’s biggest shows and pitching new ideas to the UK’s biggest and best broadcasters. So, working with us may well open some exciting new doors…

Dreaming of the end goal is so important to helping you get the motivation and drive to start the journey. TV Presenting is a brilliantly exciting and diverse world and whether you do dream of The X Factor or perhaps it’s making documentaries or children’s programmes… the only thing stopping you is you!

All the jobs – no matter how large or small – are important learning opportunities. Sometimes the things you might learn are small and sometimes they are a little bigger. This reporter learnt a valuable lesson about where to stand when conducting an interview…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuurLPmNEXo

There’s now debate as to whether the clip is real or staged – but it’s certainly got her noticed as the clip is all over the internet….!

Whether you are just starting out on your presenting career or if you have been working for a while and want the very best industry advice then The Presenter Studio is the place to be.

Get yourself booked onto one of our award winning Fast Track two day courses in May or June or our ‘How To Make It as a TV Presenter’ workshop on April 29th and set those dreams free! Be seen by real TV producers and discover your difference…

What’s stopping you?

WHAT’S YOUR BRAND?

A TV Presenter is someone who brings a programme to life.   And that’s down to your personality.  Many aspiring presenters think we hire them for their technical knowledge – autocue, ear-pieces etc – but it’s actually nothing to do with that!

We (TV Producers) hire ‘personalities’, and it’s this we often refer to as your brand – who are you?  what makes you different and what can you bring to a show?  Ask yourself these 3 key questions.

At The Presenter Studio the TV Producers we give you access to work in TV.  They have worked with the top names out there, across all genres of TV – from documentaries to entertainment to features.

Our exclusive TV Presenter Training Courses are all tailor-made to you, your brand and your market.  So we find your brand for you, and we also market you for success.

So if you want to learn from the industry insiders come and see us!
