You know, we say this all the time to everyone we work with – TV is desperate for new ideas and new talent.
It’s so useful if you want to be a TV presenter to also think about what you could present on TV. It’s so important to understand that television is a business – it’s called showbusiness not showfun! So the more you can approach it all professionally and creatively the better!
We recently worked with the wonderful Lisa Palmer to help her create a special taster tape for her dating business ‘Cubs and Cougars’.
We had a brilliant day filming her in action as created a date for a genuine Cougar and sent her off to meet two young cubs…

Production companies across the land are constantly making Taster Tapes to help sell their ideas and their presenters to broadcasters – so why not do it yourself?
Presenter training is important but so too are ideas. You don’t have to have them fully formed – but having some thoughts up your sleeve could be the difference between you getting that presenter job and someone else

Since then he’s filmed a pilot with Endemol and been signed by a top agent. Sorted have been getting loads of press coverage, and have been on loads of TV shows and now have over 50 million views on youtube – that’s more hits than Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsey combined. Lauren Hood screen-tested for ITV2 just days after the fast track, nice article in The Mail newspaper about Jana Dowling, Rylan was back presenting on Big Brother on FIVE; Wilfred on CNN, Georgina Burnett presenting the weather on the BBC; John Mason just been chosen to present major dance event (a job we got for him and Lucy has been shortlisted for a job we also put her up for….sorry everyone we’ve missed off here!

At The Presenter Studio we’ve been working in TV for over 20 years. Producing some of TV’s biggest stars on TV’s biggest shows. Our day jobs are still in TV and what we do with The Presenter Studio is find ways of breaking new talent.
Ritchie just came on our 1 to 1 training programme. Like many people how come to us he had done a ‘TV Presenter Course’ else where, but wanted us to give him the industry know-how to take him to the next level.

We’ve been asked to put up presenters for a major primetime Channel 4 series. Once again Channel 4 wanting to use our talent for their shows. The casting. as always is very specific but we’ve pretty much got a 100% track record at landing these presenter jobs for our clients. The people we have put up for this one are Natalie Fee, Amisha, Belinda Fenty, Dr Sohere and Dr Nick.

Another presenter success story today to share with you. Natalie Fee who came in to work with us has now landed her dream presenter job, fronting her own series. It’s been another fab few weeks for many of our clients so we wanted to share with you some of the incredible success stories from people who have done our presenter training courses….Thanks everyone who dropped us an update with what you have been up to. Here’s a quick shout out:
Bryan is on Channel 4 this Sat as his TV series The Golden Rules of Porn starts tomorrow night on More 4. He is a fab talent and lovely guy – and it didn’t take him long to get picked up. Wilfred starts his anchor job for CNBC next week (we think it’s next week!) good luck to him and check out his site – www.wilfredfrost.com. John Mason has been busy with the BBC presenting at the Commonwealth Games. He’s done incredibly well and the work keeps on coming! Nik and Laura are both in talks with major TV Co’s to host their own new series – more news on this to follow! Anna Johnson, Paul Frangie and Lisa Palmer and not forgetting Rylan have all been on This Morning. Nice to see more of our talent on one of the nation’s favourite TV shows. And well done to Carelle who is off to a great start with her agent after she was spotted at our TV Presenter Agent workshop day.

We’ve been so busy lately with our TV jobs it’s been hard to keep everyone updated with all the successes we hear.

SCREEN TEST WITH A LEADING UK AGENT!
As you know we have worked in TV for many years and have some great contacts and relationships that we like to try and share with our clients. We’ve been approached by one of the biggest agents in the industry who has carved amazing careers for the likes of Louise & Jamie Rednap, Jamie Theakston and Jodie Kidd.
She has recently moved to a new agency and has approached us asking to meet our top clients.
What she has proposed is a Presenter Brand and Screen Test Refresher session followed by a talk by her and short private screen tests with each person.
There are only ten place available and clients will be chosen according to the suitability of what she is looking for, but if you are interested and would like to be considered then please send us a link to your Talent Taster tape in an email titled MEET THE AGENT.
The session will take place on the 18th June in London and there is a small charge of £99 to cover the studio costs etc.
