We are the only TV Producers in the UK with our level of experience, seniority and track record that provide presenter training with products that separate you from the crowd.

With over 19 years experience working in all the main TV genres from childrens, to entertainment, to documentaries to events we offer you the chance to work with experts that can make a change to your career.  We’ve Produced talent from Graham Norton, Christine Bleakley, Claudia Winkleman, Rylan etc etc….

Each person is expertly branded and marketed for success.  No 2 presenters are ever treated the same and the advice and training we give is all totally unique to us.

We love the feedback we get from all our clients and with over 85% of people going on to get work we’re proud of our incredible success rate.    And that’s why we’ve had people from practically all the other presenter training courses you can find come to us to re-train.

Yesterday we worked with Lisa Palmer on our amazing 1 to 1 presenter training programme who we branded as “a ballsy bird from Croydon with more front than Sainsbury’s.”  She’s fun, a right laugh and a great fit for the features market as she is also a property expert.

Before the filming day we tailor-made a script for Lisa and then met up with her to discuss everything from her image, brand, market etc before we started to finalise the script.  Then 2 weeks later we worked with her for a whole day in the studio and on location, doing PTC’s that illustrate both her brand and the type of work she will go on to do.

This is what she had to say about us:

“I feel really blessed to have filmed my showreel with talented experts, your get a fantastic script that’s tailored made for you, and always thinking of your brand!

The day of my shoot was AMAZING Gareth (my Producer) and the crew made me feel completely relaxed.  I was produced every step of the way and guided through the scripts.   My taster tape is going to be outstanding and I have made a new friend.  Thank you once again, you really are a star and loved every minute working with you!

Love you Gareth xx.  ”

Lisa’s footage is now in the edit.  Our final taster tapes take around 4 weeks to finish as so much work goes into them.  And we can’t wait to show you all the finished product!

Ben Ebbrell, is cooking up a storm with the SORTED Crew as founder and chef for the global online cooking channel.  We worked with them a couple of years ago and since then they have gone on to achieve amazing success.

SORTEDFood is back to focusing on what really spurs him on… quick, simple, tasty grub to share with mates and the opportunity to help other novice cooks enjoy food as much as he does!

Ben is currently co-presenter for CITV/ITV’s new Saturday morning show ‘Munch Box’ which sees Ben setting challenges for young enthusiastic chefs.

Ben was winner of Good Food channel’s Market Kitchen national search for the next celebrity chef and in 2011 and was a winner of SquareMile magazine’s 30 under 30 Talent Award. In addition undertaking TV appearances on the BBC’s Young Apprentice, Jamie and Jimmy’s Food Fight Club and Perfect. Together with the young team of school friends at SORTED they are winners of the BANFF World Media Award for ‘Best Online Entertainment Program’ 2011, finalist in the food category at the 2012 Shorty Awards and Winner of Educational Website of the Year 2012. Ben recently appeared on Channel 4′s new lunchtime series ‘What’s Cooking’.

Sorted have more than 347,000 subscribers and 5000 hours of their content are watched globally every day, making them the largest YouTube channel in Europe. This puts Ben and the team at the front of the UK’s largest YouTube cooking community online. They also produce content for other channels, including Jamie Oliver’s FoodTube. Oliver describes them as ‘a truly lovely bunch of lads who are great at the business of YouTube.’ That doesn’t, however, stop them getting involved in live demos at universities up and down the country, at the Real Food Festival and at the BBC Good Food Show.

Most recently the boys have teamed up with Penguin and have recently published their second Sorted title, ‘Food with Friends’, but this time exclusively as an ebook. Ben has also recently started presenting ITV’s brand new children’s series ‘Munchbox’ in which he oversees children’s culinary skills being put to the test!

The Sorted boys are really ones to watch in 2014 as it seems they are taking over the World!

I WANT TO BE A TV PRESENTER

So you want to be a TV Presenter?  There are so many mixed messages out there – but we are here to help.  With over 19 years experience in TV, Producing some of the biggest shows, working with TV’s biggest presenters we can help.

So here are 3 top tips for you to think about:

DON’T BE GENERIC:  Every presenter needs to have a USP (a Unique Selling Point). So many new presenters go on these often very disappointing presenter courses you can find online, where everyone pretends to present everything from the news to childrens to entertainment shows.  You need to find a point of difference otherwise you’ll find it very hard if not impossible to get work in mainstream TV.

BE YOURSELF:  A TV Producer hires a TV Presenter to bring their show to life.  So your personality is key to your success.  Also your hobbies, interests, background can be a reason to give you a job so make sure you explain who you are and what makes you different.

FIND YOUR VOICE:  Having your own opinions and passions is great.  Twitter, blogs and other social media helps you to find your voice and helps Producers understand that you live and breathe your subject.   It’s also great practice with your script writing!

BE NICE TO WORK WITH:  TV is a fun industry.  It’s a Producers job to make you look good and there are lots of tricks we use to make you look the best you can possibly be.  There is always a choice and producers will often choose to hire the person who is going to be nicer to work with – you’ve been warned!

Good Luck!

Presenter of the Month – Olivia and Bryan

We get presenters of all levels of experience come to train with us from all over the World – from celebrities to complete beginners.

We offer full career support to everyone that trains with us, and for us it’s crucial that we see you doing well.  We are hugely passionate about what we do and truly value each and every person that takes the time to come and work with us.

Each month we like to give a special shout out to a couple of presenters that have caught our eye on one of our presenter training courses, and this month it goes to Olivia and Bryan.

Olivia flew over from Australia to work with us.  She is an incredibly warm and bright mainstream presenter.  She has an amazing work ethic and a real likeability factor.  She’s just been asked to present her own show on a new SKY channel and we think she is going to go on to bigger and better things.  Here is her Talent Taster Tape. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVUXeygx7YI

Bryan is also a very mainstream presenter.  We worked with him just a few months ago and since then he hasn’t stopped working.  He has also just been signed up to do his own Channel 4 series.  Here he is in action.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3P6rWSYyaY

So if you, like these 2, have a real passion for presenting give us a shout!

Paul Frangie came on our presenter training fast track programme a couple of years ago.  Since then he picked up loads of great work in Dubai – presenting on TV on various shows.

He then wanted to boost his expertise as a chef for TV.  So we re-branded him “Making healthy food sexy” in our private 1 to 1 training.  He immediately got picked up by an agent who we bumped into when we were filming, and now is developing his own series and filming a pilot with Endemol today.

We are also fighting the competition off and are developing 2 new TV series for him too.

And this week he was the new chef on ITV’s This Morning for their healthy food strand.  Philip introduced him as “possibly the best looking chef we’ve ever had on the show” and now the magazine shoots are flooding in.

If you missed Paul making his TV debut on ITV this week take a look at him here in action.

THE PRESENTER STUDIO TEAM – Proud to be as different as you are.

Arazou Baker came on the award-winning fast track programme a couple of years ago.  Since then she’s gone on to be signed by a top agent, presented on Blue Peter and a couple of weeks ago make her presenting debut on ITV2.  Here she is in action.  Well done Arazou!

TV Presenters are really TV personalities.  We (meaning TV Producers) hire them to help bring a show to life.  Your personality and what makes you different is key to your success as a TV Presenter.

You also need to be the right fit for a show.  If it’s a music show the chances are you need to be passionate about music.  If it’s a news show – you’ll need to be a journalist.  Your interests are also key to you getting a presenter job.

Where everyone goes wrong is that they try and be a ‘one shape fits all’ kind of model.  But our industry works in a completely different way to this.  You need to be different.  You need to be something new.  You need to be original.  But most of all you need to be clear who you are and what you are selling.

Take Jana Dowling for example.  She came to us as a blank page (albeit a very exciting one!).  But we helped bring out the things that make her marketable – her journalism skills and her unique backstory.  And this is why she is currently getting amazing feedback from channels about her expertly crafted presenter talent taster tape and the TV idea we developed with her.  Take a look for yourself and see what we mean.  I think you’ll agree she’s pretty fantastic!

So remember – follow Jana’s example.  Be you.  Be different.  But also be marketable.
