Around 80% of people get work all over the world - BBC, ITV, C4, Five, E4, ITV2, CBBC, CITV, BBC NEWS, SKY NEWS, QVC, ABC America…
All presenters go on our Talent Database - presenter jobs and networking events exclusive to us and our clients.
Getting face-to-face time with a TV Producer with our experience is practically impossible - but thanks to the TV Producers at The Presenter Studio we are changing that.
We make TV programmes, and it’s our job to hire and work with presenters. So we know what producers want and what you need to do to succeed.
We’ve got over 20 years experience, and have worked in all the main TV genres (entertainment, childrens, features, documentaries and news) with all different types of presenters – from chefs to entertainment presenters, to interior designers, to former pop-stars to Olympic athletes.
1- A Private Career Consultation - a one and a half hour sit-down session in a central London location with a top TV Producer. These are done online.
2 - A Practical Coaching Sesssion – a two hour practical session that is more of a coaching session. This is perfect for screen-test preparation, or if you need to work on something specific. This is mainly done online but we can also discuss meeting in an informal setting where we can do practical work.
The consultations are suited to anyone from complete beginners to more established names. And it’s not just for ‘presenters’ – we love meeting up with ‘experts’ – chefs, to interior designers to doctors.
Every presenter needs a USP – a unique selling point. It’s what we call your ‘brand’. We’ll explore this with you and help you understand how important it is to start thinking about yourself in a certain way.
Your personality is key to your success. So we’ll chat to you about how to think about yourself as a ‘unique personality’ rather than a generic TV presenter. It’s where 99% of other people go wrong and with our help you’ll soon understand why.
You also need to understand your market – the genre of TV you want to work in. It’s important to realise that each genre in TV works very differently to the next, so the advise we’ll give you will really depend on what type of TV you want to work in or what we think you are best suited to. Sounds confusing? Don’t worry – it’s what the session is for!
If you have promotional material we can give you feedback – from photos to showreels to youtube videos. We’ll also discuss the pitfalls of ‘presenter showreels’ and help you understand why 99% of presenter showreels out there will not get you work in mainstream TV.
And we’ll reveal our secrets about how to get yourself some really great work. We’ll also discuss potential avenues for you to go down from agents to TV channels that you should be contacting. And we’ll come up with a plan to help you progress your career.
We’ll also give you our thoughts on you as a potential talent and focus on what we think are your selling points and what potentially are your weak spots.
This is also a really creative session where we’ll explore your potential as much as we can – people have launched businesses, had programme ideas commissioned, met up with agents, launched careers - you name it off the back of meeting us. We want to see you doing well, so who knows where this session will take you!

So how does it work? The 1 to 1 presenter training programme is split across two separate days...where you will get never-seen-before training from one of the UK's best-known TV Executive Producers (and yes we have won a BAFTA!)...
In brief this is what happens:
Day 1 - this is your initial consultation - we get to know you and discuss our ideas and scripts - in person or via Zoom. Prior to the initial consultation we'll email you a Booking Form - you can tell us about yourself, your needs and presenting ambitions. Consultations usually last around 1 hour.
After the consultation we then go away and start to plan your filming day, write your scripts and send you an email with all the proposed info.
Day 2 - is the besoke filming and training day. N.B. Usually the 2 days are not on consecutive days to allow us time to plan your shoot.
Everything is bespoke. If your goal is TV Presenting you may want to use the 1 to 1 to get an industry based Talent Taster Tape. Or to update your current reel. Or if you are a business, you may want to use this for training or to create branded video content.
If you want to work in TV this initial consultation is a priceless opportunity to have a meeting with an award-winning TV Exec Producer, with over 20 years experience. All our advice is specific to the genre of TV you want to work in – news, features, entertainment, factual entertainment, and documentaries. Each genre works differently, so we will help you market yourself accordingly.
If you are a business, we have worked with top brands like Porshe, ASOS, Red Bull, GQ, Lush Cosmetics, The Prudential, and smaller businesses like financial advisors or personal trainers. We'll start by looking at you, your personal brand, the brand of your business, your customer and how this all informs the work we will do with you.
Firstly we'll explain the importance of branding yourself as a ‘unique personality’ rather than a generic presenter. And we’ll explore how to develop your personal brand, and why this is so important.
And we've worked with some of TV's biggest presenters - Zoe Ball, Dermot O'Leary, Rylan Clark-Neal, Claudia Winkleman writing their scripts and producing them. So we know what makes a good presenter and how to create good content.
We’ll discuss the various areas (we call them genres) of TV, how they work and what you need to do to market yourself correctly for your chosen area. Or if you are a business person we'll discuss your business and your customer.
Once we've helped you decide the area of work you want to do we will discuss ideas for the separate filming day, including any interviews, scripts or locations we may want to set up.
At the end of the consultation we go away and write your tailor-made training programme - including all of your scripts, setting up any locations and interviews, and write up the filming schedule for the crew.
We will then contact you to set a filming date (read Day Two).
